Last week Thursday and Friday, 3rd May and 4th May 2018, Alternative Adverts, Nigeria’s leading advertising agency held her 2-day free digital marketing training and it was a huge success! Indeed, it was an atmosphere of learning where the trainers were excited about helping the students understand the ins and outs of digital marketing and the students were eagerly gleaning all the information they could get from the experienced tutors.
On Thursday, which was the first day of the training, students were trained on the fundamentals and advanced level of search engine optimization. From on-page SEO to off-page SEO, Keyword research and optimization, internet yellow pages, search engine marketing, Google ad words, site analytics and web conversion tools participants went home with an extensive knowledge on how to optimize their businesses and make it rank higher on search engines.
As if that was not enough, the Day 1 trainer, Mr. Emmanuel Nwafor, a Marketing consultant with 10 years plus experience in the industry, an Advertising and branding expert, social media influencer and Managing Director of Alternative Adverts Ltd covered the intricacies of Search Engine Optimization in his almost 6-hour full lectures.
By Day 2, the first trainer, Caroline Wabara, a Digital Marketing Consultant & Trainer covered Facebook and Instagram in full. She also touched critical aspects of social media marketing, content, and optimization.
Daniel Malik, CIO of Tradersball, came in for the afternoon section and dealt a hard blow on strategy, content marketing, and digital storytelling. Also, Mr. Nwafor rounded off the training by touching important topics on display advertising, email and mobile marketing.
All the classes were practical and interactive and all the participants had great stories to tell.
When asked about the training, one of the participants, Agbiboa Benjamin from Mosaug Consulting claimed that what was covered in 2 days was beyond a regular one week or one-month training. In his own words, he says the training was insightful and he enjoyed every bit of it
Not only was did participants gain insightful knowledge about digital marketing, there were also opportunities to network, share and of course we had, we also had a sumptuous lunch on both days and nice take-home packages.
It didn’t end there. Participants were also presented their hard copy certificates at the end of the second day and materials to learn from were shared with them. In addition, they got email addresses and SMS contacts for them to kick-start their email marketing campaigns.
